AkvoPura — Privacy Policy

AkvoPura ("we", "our", "the app") is an operations app for a Pakistani mineral water delivery business. This policy explains what personal data we collect from customers, salesmen, managers, and the owner, why we collect it, how it is stored, and your rights regarding it.

1. Who this app is for

• Customers — people who order water (cans, gallons, or bottled packs) from the AkvoPura branch in Timergara or Shergarh.
• Staff — salesmen, production workers, drivers, helpers, and branch managers, plus the business owner.

Only staff invited by the branch manager and customers who self-register and get manager approval can use the app.

2. What data we collect

From customers

• Full name
• Phone number
• Delivery address
• Branch you belong to (Timergara or Shergarh)
• Customer type (Cans / Gallons or Bottled Pets)
• Order history, bills, payments, outstanding balance
• Complaints you file

From staff

• Full name
• Login username
• Branch assignment
• Role (manager, salesman, production worker, driver, helper)

Automatically

• Bills, deliveries, returns, and payments you create or receive
• Date and time of each transaction

We do not collect:

• Your contact list
• Your photos or files
• Your location (GPS)
• Any financial card or bank account details
• Browsing history

3. Why we collect it

• To deliver water orders to the correct customer
• To bill the correct customer for the correct amount
• To track outstanding balances, container deposits, and payments
• For the branch manager to verify your registration and contact you
• For the business owner to view branch performance and audit logs
• To resolve complaints

We do not sell or share your data with any third party for advertising, marketing, or any other commercial purpose.

4. Where data is stored

• App backend: AkvoPura's private server (hosted on Render).
• Database: Supabase (Mumbai data centre, India).
• Bill archive emails: Sent to akvopura4@gmail.com (the business owner's Gmail account) for record-keeping.

All connections between your phone, the server, and the database are encrypted with HTTPS / TLS.

5. Who can see your data

• You can see your own data (orders, bills, complaints, balance).
• Your branch's salesmen and manager can see your name, phone, address, and balance because they need this to deliver and bill you.
• The owner can see all customers and staff across both branches.
• Other customers cannot see your data.

Staff accounts are role-restricted by the backend — a salesman cannot see another branch's customers, and managers cannot see other branches' staff.

6. How long we keep your data

We keep your data for as long as you are an active customer or staff member. If you ask us to delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where local accounting law requires us to keep bill records (typically 5 years in Pakistan).

7. Your rights

You can ask us to:

• See a copy of your data
• Correct your data if it's wrong
• Delete your data (subject to accounting law)
• Deactivate your account

To exercise any of these rights, contact your branch manager or email akvopura4@gmail.com with your name and phone number.

8. Security

• Passwords are stored hashed with bcrypt (industry-standard one-way hashing)
• All API traffic uses HTTPS
• Database access is restricted to the backend service
• Staff accounts can be deactivated immediately if a device is lost or stolen
• Customers register through the app and are approved manually by the branch manager — preventing spam or fake accounts

9. Children

AkvoPura is a business tool. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you are a parent and believe your child has registered, contact us so we can remove the account.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top and post the new version at the same URL. Significant changes will be communicated through the app.
